Bird Bath Repair

This ceramic bird bath was brought in and held sentimental value as it was handmade specifically for this woman who was looking to have it pieced back together and repaired.. It had been accidentally knocked over by the landscaper and shattered into many pieces. We reattached several pieces before we remembered to snap a photo, however, you can see from the photos how it was shattered. Even the poor bird was missing a wing.

The repair and revitalization of this piece went wonderfully and the customer was thrilled with the result. We are proud of this one.

20210312 175741 — All gaps filled and sealed. Bird wing reattached. Paint and thick ceramic clear seal.

Reattached the post that the bird bath rests on and applied a water seal around the edge of the stand to prevent moisture from getting under it.
