Fall Camp 2022 – Art Medley
Our Fall Art Camp 2022- Art Medley Week was a huge success! Thank you to all the students who joined us for a week full of exciting projects! In this camp students worked with acrylic paints, watercolor, air dry clay, polymer clay, pottery painting, and more! Starting each morning students completed a bullet journal prompt in their art journals, then drew inspiration for their projects that day.
In this project, students worked with polymer clay to created their very own “Haunted Snow-Globe.” They created pumpkins, trees, tombstones, cats, mushrooms, and more to be the base of their snow-globe, then glued their creation to the bottom of the lid. Then, they added a mixture of water and glue and their choice of glitter to the jar to create a snow-globe!
Many of the projects this year required multiple steps to finish the full creation. Another one being the “Ghoulish Garden.” Students work with air dry clay to create monstrous looking plants.
One these plants were created, students then painted their plants and pots using acrylic paint. Next, using floral foam, moss, and little plastic succulents, students assembled their very own “Ghoulish Garden.” Each and every student showed great individuality in their creations!
Along with these projects, students painted pottery, made wood board art, and made personalized trick or treat tote bags. The last day of camp was spent assembling all the projects and seeing the final result of each one, as well a costume party on the patio including games, face painting and hydro dipping pumpkins!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Mud Week & Art Medley Week, it was a huge success and we are incredibly proud of each student and everything they accomplished!
