Embrace the spirit of fall in our delightful clay hand-building class, where you’ll create your very own festive pumpkin mug, perfect for sipping hot cocoa, and pumpkin spice lattes, on those crisp autumn days! This workshop is ideal for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artisans, who want to explore the tactile joy of working with clay.
Throughout the class, you will learn essential hand-building techniques, including slab construction, coil building, and surface decoration. Our knowledgeable instructor will guide you step-by-step as you shape your pumpkin mug, complete with a cozy handle, allowing you to personalize your creation with your own unique flair.
Let your imagination flow as you add charming details to your mug—think playful accents, textured patterns, or even intricate carvings. You’ll leave the class with a beautifully crafted piece ready to be glazed and fired, and to enjoy on those cozy evenings filled with warmth and pumpkin spice!
These pieces will then need to be dried and fired in our kiln, which can typically take around two weeks.
Once kiln fired, the mug will be ready for painting! Painting is included in original price! Come back for no extra charge to paint and add on all your finishing details. After pieces are painted they will be fired in our kilns one final time, and then will be ready for pickup within a week!
