Empty Bowls Painting and Wheel-Throwing Donation and Fund-Raising Event

Join us for a creative and impactful day at our Empty Bowls Painting and Wheel Throwing Event, where art meets compassion! This unique fundraising event invites individuals of all ages and skill levels to come together to craft beautiful pottery and express their artistic flair while supporting a vital cause.

**Date:** October 17th, 2024
**Time:** 5pm to 8pm
**Location:** Burst Of Butterflies Create & Paint Studio – Downtown Chandler

During this hands-on event, participants will have the opportunity to paint their own ceramic bowls and try their hand at wheel throwing under the guidance of experienced local artists. Each bowl created will be a symbol of hope and will be donated to our Empty Bowls initiative, aimed at raising awareness about hunger in our community.

**What to Expect:**

– **Painting Stations:** Get creative! Choose from a variety of glazes and designs to personalize your bowl.
– **Wheel Throwing Demonstrations:** Watch skilled potters in action and learn the basics of wheel throwing. Attendees will have the chance to try it themselves!
– **Community Connection:** Meet fellow participants, local artists, and volunteers who are passionate about making a difference.
– **Refreshments:** Light snacks will be provided along with bottled water.  You may BYOB beer, wine, soft drinks if desired.

A portion of proceeds from this event, in addition to all bowls created, will go directly to Emerging Leaders Committee supporting the Tempe Community Action Agency, which is dedicated to addressing food insecurity and providing support to those in need. Your participation helps ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
