Clay Wheel Throwing – Pumpkins

Create a custom ceramic pumpkin with lid from a single ball of clay on the wheel, and ability to add lights or candle inside.

We’ll teach the basics of clay wheel throwing and finish the class with your very own Pumpkin or Gourd that will be available for painting, in ten days, with a variety of colors. Get ready to spice up your holiday season and get down and dirty in the mud.

Bring friends and make it a fun outing.  Registration is per person.

Note: Class pricing includes all instruction, materials, two firings and painting with glazes.  Clay needs to be dried and fired before painting.  Typically, this process takes approximately 10 days and we will call you when your pumpkin is ready to paint.  Second visit for paint does not require an appointment.  After painting with glazes, finished piece will be fired and ready in three to five days.
