New Year Clay Kickoff –
Kids Clay Day (Ages 8–14)

Ring in the new year with creativity! Our Kids Clay Day is the perfect way for young artists to explore new hobbies, build confidence, and have hands-on fun in the world of clay.

During this one-day workshop from 1:00pm–4:00pm, kids will enjoy a guided introduction to two exciting clay experiences:

Pottery Wheel Throwing: Bowl

Each child will learn the basics of centering and shaping clay on the pottery wheel and create their very own wheel-thrown piece.

Hand-Building Project: “Petal Slab Snowman”

Kids will learn foundational hand-building techniques as they sculpt an adorable winter-themed clay snowman using slab and texture tools.

Return Visit Included

After the projects are dried and fired (by January 15th), students will return on a future date of their choice to paint and glaze their creations before the final kiln firing.

Our friendly instructors—skilled in teaching the fundamentals of ceramics—make this class welcoming, fun, and perfectly suited for beginners.
