Summer Art Camp 2022 – Mud Week I – Ages 5-9 May 31st through June 3rd 9:30am to 12:30pm

$175.00

Mud week is a favorite with kids and parents.  All attendees will have multiple times on the wheel learning how to center and shape the clay into round shapes such as bowls, cups, or vases.  Additionally, we will learn to create fun projects in hand-building clay with techniques in pinch pots, coiling, sculpting, using clay tools, and more.  Each camper will create several pieces during the 12 hours of camp.  These clay pieces will be fired and ready to paint on June 10th. Each camper will also receive a hard cover spiral watercolor paper journal to sketch designs as well as filling with mini projects such as watercolor painting, salt painting, drawing, and more. Sign up for multiple camp weeks with a different theme and projects in each session.  The two Mud Weeks are heavily focused on clay, and each of the other themed camp weeks are a medley of art mediums including clay, acrylic painting, watercolor painting, pottery painting, glass fusing, polymer clay sculpting, mosaics, art journaling, and more. Don’t miss out. In Studio Seating is limited. Register before May 1st for early-bird discount.
