As 2025 comes to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on a year that asked a lot of us — personally, creatively, and as a small business rooted deeply in community.
This past year brought growth in ways we didn’t always expect. Some of it was joyful and energizing. Some of it was challenging and stretching. And some of it required us to pause, regroup, and rebuild with intention. Through it all, one thing remained constant: the power of creativity and the people who fill our studios every day.
At Burst of Butterflies, we witnessed countless meaningful moments this year — families creating together, kids discovering confidence through art, friends gathering for paint nights, couples laughing at the wheel, and community partnerships that reminded us why this work matters. Each brushstroke, each piece of clay, and each shared smile told a story of connection.
We’re especially grateful continued partnership with Transitions and other special needs groups and facilities. Continuing to be a part of the journey for our ability aware friends has been one of the most humbling and heart-filling experiences of the year.
Behind the scenes, 2025 was also a year of learning and growth for our team. We refined systems, strengthened communication, welcomed new faces, and leaned into the idea that growth doesn’t always mean moving faster — sometimes it means moving more thoughtfully.
To our guests, families, artists, teachers, team members, and community partners: thank you. Your support, kindness, patience, and belief in what we do carried us through moments both joyful and difficult. Choosing to create locally, support small businesses, and show up for community spaces like ours truly makes a difference.
As we look ahead to 2026, we’re filled with cautious optimism and renewed excitement. There are new ideas taking shape, new classes and experiences on the horizon, and a continued commitment to creating a space where creativity feels welcoming, meaningful, and joyful for all.
