Finding Forever Through Art – Our Partnership with AZ Family

At Burst of Butterflies, creativity has always been at the heart of what we do — but some of our most powerful moments come when art becomes a bridge to something even deeper: belonging.

For several years, we’ve partnered with AZ Family’s Finding Forever series, a program that highlights incredible children in Arizona who are hoping to find their forever families. Through this partnership, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming these amazing kids into our studio for a day of creativity, laughter, and connection.

When a child sits down to paint — choosing their colors, telling their story through brushstrokes — something special happens. They get to express who they are and how they see the world. And for us, seeing those sparks of joy reminds us that art isn’t just about what ends up on the canvas; it’s about the confidence and hope that take shape in the process.

Each visit from Finding Forever fills our studio with so much light. We’ve met kids with big imaginations, gentle hearts, and dreams as colorful as the glazes they choose. Watching them create and knowing their stories are being shared with families across Arizona is an honor we’ll never forget.
